Milan Ondrík is a distinguished Slovak actor celebrated for his profound performances across film, television, and theatre. Born on May 3, 1980, in Dolný Kubín, Slovakia, he honed his craft at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He began his theatrical journey with the Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra and has been a prominent member of the Slovak National Theatre ensemble since 2011.
Ondrík garnered international acclaim for his lead role in Let There Be Light (2019), directed by Marko Škop. His portrayal of a Slovak father confronting the radicalization of his son earned him the Best Actor award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. He also received the Sun in a Net Award for Best Leading Actor in 2020 for this role.
